✨ Speaker Lineup✨

🗣 Sonia Mehta, Director of Analytics at Elevate Labs

Building Your QA Framework

QA can include many things and it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole of all the ways to test your data for completion and accuracy. Depending on the error, what to do next can vary greatly as well! In this talk, Sonia will aim to talk about the types of tests to apply and how to decide on acceptable thresholds for failures. She'll also walk through how dbt has helped Elevate Labs have more reliable and accurate data.

🗣 Lauren Talbot, VP of Data & Analytics at BARK

How BARK’s Data Team Created a Feedback Loop Between BI and Data Science

With a fast-growing data team spread across many locations, BARK wanted to make sure they were collaborating and knowledge-sharing efficiently. In this talk, Lauren will share how she worked with her team to create a knowledge repo -- an all-in-one solution that could document, share, keep track of insights, and build upon those insights iteratively, without ever having to reinvent the wheel.

dbt is a command line tool that speaks the preferred language of data analysts everywhere—SQL. With dbt, analysts take ownership of the entire analytics engineering workflow, from writing data transformation code to deployment and documentation.
