Serverless - What, Why, How and How?

Let's work through what Serverless is, why you would want to use it, how it works and how to get started. We'll spend some time with a few example use cases to flesh out some implementations so you can feel confident building out your own serverless applications.

This will be a hands-on lab that will start with a 30 minute presentation and will include coding exercises with experts available to assist.

We will be working with Apache OpenWhisk, an open source serverless framework. We can run our code with IBM Cloud Functions with a free IBM Cloud account, however, Apache OpenWhisk can be run locally and on most server platforms.
