We'll see some of the most compelling digital journalism pieces from the last year year. We'll watch and listen to several pieces and have a brief informal discussion with reactions to the pieces and questions that arise, including:

  • What makes these stories effective, and how do they serve the information needs of audiences?
  • How can others follow their lead in experimenting with innovative storytelling?

We'll screen several pieces, including:
A New Age of Walls (https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/world/border-barriers/global-illegal-immigration-prevention/)
The Washington Post

Containers (https://soundcloud.com/containersfmg)
Fusion Media Group

After Solitary (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/after-solitary/)

Please join us for a viewing and discussion moderated by Jeremy Caplan, Tow-Knight's Director of Education. If you'd like to eat, feel free to bring your own bag lunch.
