What is your history with fermentation or what are you interested in learning about?

I've been fermenting various vegetables and dairy at home as an enthusiastic hobbyist for the last dozen years. I'm interested in learning about EVERYTHING fermented. Really, I'm curious about traditional ferments, innovative ones, health benefits, seasonality, building community around fermentation etc.

How did you find out about NYC Ferments?

I found out about NYC Ferments from Angela Davis.

I'm an enthusiastic home fermenter, eager to connect with others who love (or are simply intrigued by) fermentation. I'd like to exchange ideas and experiences around traditions, techniques, and building community around fermentation.
