The NYC Junto will meet on Thursday November 5, 2015 at the General Society Library, 20 West 44th Street. Please arrive at 7:45 to hear the featured speaker. This event is free and open to the public.
The featured speaker will be legendary investor Victor Niederhoffer. Niederhoffer's topic will be the principles of financial speculation.
Niederhoffer is a hedge fund manager. He studied statistics and economics at Harvard ('64) and received a PhD from the University of Chicago ('69). He was the best squash player in the world in 1975. His autobiography is The Education of a Speculator, published in 1998 by John Wiley & Sons.
Founded in 1985, the NYC Junto is a monthly meeting hosted by Victor Niederhoffer and moderated by Barron's columnist Gene Epstein.
