Understanding time-series healthcare data -- Advanced signal processing.

Time series data is ubiquitous in healthcare. A great example for the timeseries data are the brain wave recordings or electroencephalography (EEG). During this meetup, we will learn how to perform basic signal processing including concepts of band-pass filter and various types of filtering techniques. At the end of the session, the participants will implement a Butterworth band-pass filter on an EEG data.

The programming will be done using Python 3. We will be using the Scipy scientific computing package for Python to perform the signal processing tasks.
