Brooklyn Game Lab is a new store with games to buy and borrow on Chambers Street, convenient to subway and PATH trains, and for the first couple of months they are waiving all game-borrowing fees on Monday through Thursday nights. This meetup is at the same time as theirs (https://www.meetup.com/After-Work-Board-Games/events/mgnjxqyzhbmb/) so we may get some extra people if they love word games.
The store does not sell any food or drink, so this is one time we are allowed to bring in outside food and drink. There is a Chinese restaurant across the street, and a pizzeria a half-block away at the corner of Chambers and Church Streets. I will be eating before the meetup at Nish Nush, an excellent vegetarian Middle Eastern sorta-fast-food joint at the corner of Chambers and Reade Streets, and you are welcome to join me.
Last time we spent 2.5 hours playing Super Duper Scrabble. This time, other word games that are not Scrabble!
