Hello Oyster Lovers,

First, a big thank you to everyone who came out last night for the Blue Ribbon Sushi Meetup! We enjoyed an excellent demonstration of the clean, rich flavors of Japanese cuisine, and it was great to see familiar faces and meet new ones.

I mentioned this to some folks last night, but also wanted to make a wider announcement that there's a new pop-up seafood stall in Williamsburg launching on Sat 11/17. W&T Seafood will be selling oysters, clams and mussels at a counter inside Gourmet Guild (110 Broadway, off the Marcy J/M/Z), and there will be a series of cooking demos (and samples!) from 12-5 pm. Also, if you're interested in showing off your shellfishness, a series of oyster-themed tees will be available, so you can tell the world, "Send me on my merroir way!"

Hope to see you soon at another oyster event!

-Crystal
