• Come BarlisWedlick Architects at the Hudson Valley passive 'house' of longtime client, The Church of the Seventh Day Adventists. Aiming to be the first passive church in the United States, the building will be completed over the next six months.

• What began as a challenge to design a space for worship, community, and education with as modest a carbon footprint as possible, has progressed to a state-of-the-art building with an uplifting design, superior indoor air quality, and energy needs that are a small fraction of what a typical structure would demand.

• Leading the tour and taking your questions will be Marc Bailey, Associate Architect, Liza Paredes, Project Manager, and Firm Principal, Alan Barlis, who has also invited his High Performance Architecture class from City College New York (CCNY).
