SITE DESCRIPTION:
This single family home, originally built in the early 1900’s, is being retrofitted to the EnerPHit standard. This project is currently achieving very high air-tightness standard of below 0.3 Air Changes per Hour, making it one of the most air-tight EnerPHit projects in the world. Currently in the final stages of construction, it is an interesting study in how to apply the Passive House standard to complex building envelopes.
