All About OpenShift Virtualization
Details
Do you have a growing number of cloud-native applications running on OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters? Do you also have a vast array of existing applications that currently run all by themselves in virtual machines? Would you like to make it easier for these two types of applications to communicate and share data? Time to look in to OpenShift Virtualization (based on the upstream Kubevirt project)! OpenShift Virtualization puts KVM under the same OpenShift control plane as your containerized applications. This allows them to share the same networking, storage, and compute resources more seamlessly, and simplifies automated management. In this session we will show what OpenShift Virtualization is, how it works, and hopefully show some examples on how to create VMs in that environment.
