Meg Miller - Framestore
Meg is a lead Producer at Framestore's VR Studio where she's been since it's inception, working to bring a range of virtual worlds to life.
She graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Publication Management and moved straight to New York where she launched her career in Framestore's digital department. Her interest in storytelling and emerging technology made her a great fit for the VR team where she has worked on projects such as Game of Thrones, Let Hawaii Happen, Merrell Trailscape, Interstellar, and original IP projects.
Will Roberts - Augmented Pictures
Will Roberts, a long time NYVR member, has graciously offered to bring a PSVR to demo to the group. Will heads up Augmented Pictures which is an animation studio that is focused on narrative content for augmented and virtual reality. Their mission is to artfully craft stories that both educate and entertain."
David Grinbaum - Chapter Four
Chapter Four is an NYC-based full-service production company that focuses on VR and 360 videos. Chapter Four is currently one of the few companies with a comprehensive production / post-production workflow to include spatial audio, helping us deliver some of the most groundbreaking immersive experiences for VR and 360 content on platforms such as the Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, LittlStar, Facebook 360 and YouTube 360.
Alissa Crevier - Littlstar
Alissa Crevier is a marketing and brand partnerships executive with a background in artist management, music and entertainment, and creative content development. Her industry experience comes from a career at The Bowery Presents, PledgeMusic, and Spotify, where she served as both the Global Head of Artist Marketing and the Director of Brand Partnerships in North America. Alissa sits on Advisory Boards at both Trinity College, CT and The Pablove Foundation. She is the Global Head of Brand Partnerships at Littlstar, a premium distribution platform dedicated to showcasing the most immersive VR/360 content around the globe. Littlstar has channels from the best VR content creators in the world like ABC, Showtime, Disney, Nat Geo, Discovery, PBS, Red Bull, Virgin and more. Littlstar has apps on iOS, Android, Google Cardboard, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, Sony Playstation VR, Apple TV, and web.
Bracey Smith - The Dream Cube
Bracey will be presenting and demo'ing his creation called The Dream Cube The Dream Cube is a first of its kind spatial puzzle experience for Virtual Reality. Not quite a game. More than just a story. Check out his kickstarter at the following link.
Loren Abdulezer - Evolving Technologies Corp.
Loren will be demo'ing Evolving Tech's latest creation for Discovery Communications, a VR pod that allows attendees to be transported across the world to amazing Discover VR destinations.
The Glimpse Group
The Glimpse Group is again sponsoring both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift (with Touch!) demo’s at the upcoming event. I will have a signup sheet upon arrival and will block time in 5 minute intervals in order to get as many people thru the demo’s as possible.
