As part of their effort to promote women in science, and particularly in data science, Stanford University have been organizing, for a couple of years already, an international conference about Women in Data Science (http://www.widsconference.org). Featuring female-only speakers but open to all, the conference has reached a wide audience, not only through the main event held in Stanford, but also thanks to hundreds of satellite events globally.
This year, we are proud to partner with the Busara Centre for Behavioral Economics (Nairobi, Kenya) to host the WiDS Conference code-labs in Nairobi on 10th March. The labs will cover beginner and intermediate level Python and R for Data Science.
Be sure to bring your Laptop (with R or Python installed), notebook and a friend
