What we're about

Do you believe there is a power for good in the universe that is available to everyone who understands and knows how to use it? Are you looking for a way of life and thinking that helps you realize your true nature and individual goals in life? Are you living a spiritual life and would like to be in community with other like-minded people?

If so, we invite you to join Namasté Center for Spiritual Living. We believe that the universe is fundamentally spiritual - it has intelligence, purpose, beauty and order. Whether we call it God, Nature, Spirit, energy or universal intelligence, it all emanates from this spiritual universe. We believe this universal intelligence is within us as well as around us, and that we can use this intelligence to the extent we are conscious of it.

Namasté is a member community of the Centers for Spiritual Living. Our beliefs are in harmony with the basic tenets of all the world's great religions and many of our members are practicing Christians, Jews and those of other faiths and practices.

We believe in our own soul, our own spirit, and our own destiny; for we understand that the life of all is God. If you'd like to learn more, check us out!

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS: Day of the Dead - A Celebration of Life

Needs a location

THE CIRCLE welcomes renowned artist and interpreter of Day of the Dead traditions, Consuelo G. Flores, on Wednesday, October 20th at 7pm, as she presents DIA DE LOS MUERTOS: Day of the Dead - A Celebration of Life. Consuelo will lead us through the spiritual foundations, iconography and meanings of the Day of the Dead holiday, and how they manifest in the artistry of altars, face-painting, fashion and skulls.

She says “"People die three deaths. First, when life leaves the body, second when the body itself is no longer visible, and is buried or cremated, and the third, most tragic, death occurs the day when the dead are forgotten. We don't want our dead to be forgotten."

Among the many prestigious venues where Consuelo Flores has exhibited/presented are the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Gene Autry Museum of Western Heritage, and currently at The Craft Contemporary Gallery with an altar commemorating the Latino and Black communities who have been most impacted by COVID-19. (https://www.craftcontemporary.org/exhibitions/consuelo-flores-the-roots-of-our-resistance-altar/) In her own words, “We must honor them by fighting for equality, ensuring communities of color are safe, healthy, and have a secure future.” For more info on the artist: https://medium.com/the-reynolds-media-lab/the-roots-to-my-resistance-the-ofrendas-of-consuelo-flores-c276442132a5
