This group is for everyone with interests in any aspect of developing sustainable suburban living on our planet who believe the only way to make progress on the challenges our community faces, is to come together and do something about it.

This group serves as a community organizer and calendar for local groups, organizations, and individuals in the Naperville area by making others aware of sustainability focused community events and activites.

If you are the organizer of a local environmental group or are hosting an environmental event, feel free to use this site to post your activities so that others can join you and support your mission.

If you are an individual looking for a way to meet up with other like-minded individuals--JOIN US! Feel free to attend any and all of the meetups posted here, and make new friends in the process!

Naperville Community Gardeners Regular Meeting

These meetings are a great place to meet extremely friendly, knowledgeable and experienced gardeners in our community, as well as help with gardens plots at the community garden area to help feed our community. Meetings are free and open to the public, but membership ($20) (http://www.napervillecommunitygardeners.org/joinus.html) and donations will help support our community outreach including scholarships, community gardens, and educational events such as these, can be done at the meetings and are greatly appreciated! Are you interested in learning more about birds in Will county and surrounding areas? Do you like to bird watch but need help from experienced birders? Please join us at a monthly meeting of the Will County Audubon. Whether you are new to birding or a seasoned pro, you'll find great people and interesting programs at our meetings. Meetings are held every second Thursday of the month from September to May. However, no meeting is held in December. Meetings begin at 7 PM.
