Truly Happy Holidays for the Narcissistic Family
Hi Thrivers!!!! As November and December approach in the USA many of us cringe with dread as we consider the multiple ways we might be tortured at various holiday gatherings. RIGHT??!! You are not alone in this! After working with thousands of survivors I have come to understand some very important pieces for not just surviving but thriving during the holidays. I am looking forward to sharing my Holiday Map for Happiness and Peace! Please come with a journal and a pen or something to write with. BRing water and a snack to share. Walk away with your own personal plan for a peaceful holiday season despite any narcissistic family members of friends. Please bring $15 to cover meeting costs, no one turned away. This will be the LAST LIVE meeting of 2018! Live meetings will resume Weds, Feb 6th 2019 and continue on the the first Weds of the month for the remainder of 2019. Virtual Meetings will continue on the last Wednesday of the month 7-8:30 PST (Nov 28, Dec 26. January 30th, Feb 27th, etc...) I am looking forward to seeing you before I head to Hungary for snow and loving family. What we're about

For Support in coping with narcissism in intimate relationships such as parent/child, sibling or spouse.

This group is intended for women and men who consider themselves to have been, are, or are in the process of ending a relationship with a narcissist and who are interested in learning coping strategies for recovery. These coping strategies apply whether the narcissist was a spouse, friend, partner, boss, co-worker parent or other family member. We go through some deep work but we laugh a lot and have a lot of fun as we learn and grow. :) This group is intended to provide support in recovering from narcissistic abuse and learning and incorporating tools and strategies to move on and not only recover but also thrive after narcissistic abuse.

I want to be loud and clear about this: The mission of this group is to stop narcissistic abuse NOW. I don't mean in the whole world. I mean in YOUR life RIGHT NOW. I mean get healed and stop the cycle now and forever in YOUR family tree.

I was raised in a family heavily peppered with narcissistic traits as coping mechanisms for shame, trauma, depression, anxiety, a sense of inferiority, and culturally practiced humiliation. Going through narcissistic abuse recovery has helped me build a loving marriage and some deeply fulfilling friendship relationships previously not attainable. I still struggle with narcissism in every aspect of my life but I practice shame resilience and behavior awareness to live well. I am honored (and often challenged!) to change the painful patterns I grew up with in my roles as a mother, wife and friend.
