Perhaps you have heard the buzz around the Xamarin mobile development. The Xamarin SDK is currently available as a separate download Visual Studio download but will be a built in feature of Visual Studio 2017. Xamarin allows .net developers to develop native Android, IOS, and Windows Phone applications in C#. Current C# are able to leverage existing knowledge by using shared libraries, asp.net web apis,data access and Azure. Attendees will leave with information regarding steps they can take to integrate Xamarin into their skill set. Attendees will be provided information regarding helpful github repositories with demo samples, information about free Xamarin Dev Days Events, Xamarin University, and the Xamarin developer certification process. This talk assumes no prior knowledge of Xamarin.
