This is a group for African Americans interested in learning how to protect themselves with Firearms ( handguns, shotguns, and/or Rifles ) All skill levels are welcome to join. This group was created to encourage African Americans to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights to becoming legal and responsible gun owners. We welcome people of all races and gender who support our beliefs. Our club meets once or twice a month for training, range days and activities.

This course is open to all! Instructor: James Boykin-Certified Instructor Description: This is a public pistol workshop sponsored by the members of Travel Sistahs of the Southwest. We will learn proper handgun manipulation and marksmanship. Women completing this course will walk away with confidence and knowledge to competently handle and operate a handgun. Prerequisites: None TOPICS Firearm Safety Rules Range etiquette Fundamentals of marksmanship Options for buying a firearm Methods for carrying a firearm REQUIREMENTS: Comfortable clothing (no low cut shirts due to the potential for flying brass) No open toed shoes. Active Shooters Tactics Class-Ben Avery

Active Shooter Tactics Class Class taught by Certified Chapter Instructor James Boykin. This class will discuss the Philosophy behind "Run, Hide, Flight" and the application surrounding them. The Mass Shooter Tactics methodology Class will train you on what to expect during and after an Active shooter event. Additional Topics covered: • Presentation drills • Engagement methods • Shooting positions • Multiple target engagement • Reloading • Corrective action • Stress shooting • Advanced shooting positions • Barricade shooting • Moving under fire • Final exercise Prerequisites: None Equipment required: • Handgun and or Carbine (AR-15) (limited rentals available) 200rds per firearm 3 mags • Hip holster • Magazine pouches • Eye and ear protection (recommended electronic hearing protection) Class size: 2 – 12 shooters Class duration: 4 hours. ****Please register at the link below.
