This is a group for anyone interested in staying healthy, getting healthy, and healing from illness or disease by using natural methods and nutrition such eating Raw and Vegan (whole plant foods), and by Juicing and drinking Smoothies, I am starting this group because so many of my friends and family members have had serious diseases like cancer and pre or type 2 diabetes. I would like to learn what others know and I would like to share what I have learned about healthy nutrition and natural remedies.

HEALTHY BRAIN! HAPPY LIFE! Pt 8 (Repeat) "ENHANCING FRONTAL LOBE FUNCTION"

At 5pm, join us for the last presentation for this series. "ENHANCING FRONTAL LOBE FUNCTION" This is the decision-making part of the brain. In tonight's presentation, you will learn: What you can do to protect and enhance your frontal lobe; What foods have the best antioxidants for the brain; What methods are available to increase blood flow and frontal lobe activity; and What the frontal lobe desires.

The Healthy Brain! Happy Life is an eight-week seminar that aims to lift the heavy feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress using natural lifestyle methods. Each week the seminar will provide general health information on a variety of topics that are intended for educational purposes. Following each presentation, there will be time for comments and discussion. It is important to note that this seminar is not intended to take the place of your own physician or health care provider. If you are taking medication, do not change or discontinue without your physician or pharmacist's directions.

If you or someone you know is suffering from the Holiday, COVID, or Seasonal Blues, this is a program you might find useful. The holiday season of Christmas, Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, family and office gatherings are thought to be happy times, at least they are portrayed that way in the stores, commercials, and in movies. However, there is often unacknowledged stress that occurs during these shortest days of sunlight in the year. There is pressure to purchase the perfect gift, going into debt for gifts, being around people we may be uncomfortable with, feelings of not being enough, or not having enough. The days are the shortest whereby many are not getting sunlight which can further cause the blues. Not to mention the fear and worry over a serious worldwide virus, loss of homes and jobs, some due to fires, and COVID. There are so many things that are troubling. Cabin fever and isolation can be really tough.

But the good news is there are things a person can be doing to help strengthen their brain function, boost immunity, and regain clarity of thought, and experience more positive feelings again. When the brain is functioning at a peak level, life feels better.

This is a wholistic program that counts every part of the human being as important. The physical, mental/thought, emotional, and spiritual. We will be utilizing a few of the materials developed by Dr. Neil Nedley, a board-certified internal medicine expert who specializes in helping individuals successfully recover from Depression and Anxiety. Come join our health education class. Anyone is welcome.

Walking Club: Seacliff State Beach

Rio Del Mar Beach

Meet by the round-about at the sea-wall near the restrooms @ 10:30am. We will start by walking on the beach path towards Seacliff Beach. We will turn around at the tall stone wall and return. Depending on the interest of the group, we can continue south on the Rio Del Mar Beach.
