What we're about

This is a group for anyone in Dorset or further afield that has a love of nature and wildlife. We are blessed to have beautiful and unique natural environments on our doorstep from rare heathland to rich estuaries and even a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so there's so much to explore. Whether you are a budding Chris Packham and already have a great knowledge of the natural world or you enjoy watching the birds in your garden and would like to know more, then come and join us!

We are a friendly group of wildlife and natural sciences enthusiasts. Our event leaders and co-hosts give their time voluntarily, nobly supported by a core of committed members.

The majority of activities take place within nature reserves, over uneven and at times challenging terrain and are not suitable for those with chronic/serious health conditions or limited mobility. Events are in wildlife sensitive areas are not suitable for dogs. Please read and adhere to the Countryside code: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-countryside-code/the-countryside-code
