This is a Meetup Group for anyone interested in learning how to Salsa New York Style, Mambo On2, LA Style Salsa On1, Rueda de Casino (Salsa Cubana), Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue and Latin Dances. We started this salsa group for the sole purpose to recruit, teach and bring together a nice and positive salsa scene in Omaha, Nebraska that loves social dancing in clubs, ballrooms or parties. So if you love dance and latin rhythms, we would like you and your friends to join this salsa group. This is the Meetup for you! Dance to the music "Que viva la salsa"!

Beginner Salsa (On1) - 4 Week Progressive Course
Nebraska Salsa Scene, 1321 Galvin Road South, Bellevue, ne, USThis is a class for the true beginner to dancing Salsa On1. LA Style Salsa (On1) is one of the more popular salsa styles all over the world and very easy to learn. We will be explaining the very important basic fundamentals to get you started on the dance floor. Fun and learning is guaranteed. No partner required. Meet some amazing people, energize your body and become a great dancer.
Come and step in for your first class for only $40 with our 4 Week Progressive Course held from 6pm - 7pm on Thursdays October 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd.

Join us Saturday, October 4th for a "Flannel Themed" SALSA @ Sonny’s in Aksarben Village! Flannel Themed Attire is encouraged, so come dressed warm and cozy for this fun outdoor evening.
Nebraska Salsa Scene will be offering a dance lesson at 8pm, followed by the Dance Social with some awesome salsa, bachata, cha cha music and more to keep you dancing all night.
