UPDATE APRIL 23:
So I went out to Lake Park yesterday to see how the blackberries were coming along, and sadly due to the lack of rain, they're about three weeks behind, AND the sundews are gone :( SOOOO, today I hiked out at Brooker Creek and because the water table is higher in some spots there, I've located three big patches of sundews. Therefore I've changed the location for the walk. The two parks are not that far apart, so I hope you'll be able to make it anyway. Please update your RSVP if you cant so we don't wait for you. And please NOTE THE ADDRESS!! There are two Brooker Creeks and we are going to the one at 18102 Ramblewood Rd, Lutz, FL 33558 Bring a macro lens, or a magnifying glass :) The sundews are very cool.
Also, its just hiking trails, not even toilets.
Prior post: Any photographers among us? No expertise needed. You can even snap photos with your phone if you like. I often take late afternoon walks in this park, and there are always lovely photo opportunities. I can even show you where there are sundews, carnivorous plants (you will do best with a macro setting to get photos of these). Please wear closed shoes. The hike is very very easy, but its still on trails. If we all have fun and some extra time, we can grab a quick dinner afterwards. If it rains, we'll have to reschedule.
