Currently, the speaker is a project manager with experience in projects with big teams and big budgets, and also with small teams and small budgets, therefore with several lessons learned to be shared with others.

👤 Mário Nogueira - https://www.linkedin.com/in/marioandrenogueira/

Mário has been working as a Software Engineer for the past 6 years with the .NET framework. Currently works at FARO Technologies, in Gaia, mainly in the team responsible for CAM2 2018.

Has a passion for software architecture trying to find where and how he can refactor and improve code, even If it’s only as a training exercise. Also likes 3D programming doing experiments with Unreal Engine 4 in his free time.

👤 Vasco Grilo - https://www.linkedin.com/in/vasco-grilo-03109131/

Vasco Grilo is an Engineering Lead at Checkout.com.
His path at Checkout.com started in London in 2018. Since his return to Portugal, Vasco has been responsible for kickstarting and coordinating the opening of a new technology office for the company.

This office now has more than 12 people spanning multiple teams and the company is opening more and more roles there.
Over the course of his career Vasco has specialized in performant and distributed systems that need to scale horizontally to allow for a high throughput of events.

When not striving to make his geographically distributed team and the company to succeed, Vasco will surely be devoting as much time as possible to improve his musical and instrument skills.
