What we're about

Monthly meetups on bridging the gap between the IT and NGO sectors: how can NGOs leverage technology for social change and how can IT help non-profits in doing Good.

• What is email privacy and who should care about it?

• How should hackathons for social causes look?

• What is Open Access and why should we care? How does e-volunteering work in Poland?

• How should we digitise cultural heritage?

• How should IT in local administration work to benefit regular citizens?

The meetings are usually in Polish, but we had a few English-speaking events and will be happy to host one if needed.

Needs a location

This group needs a new leader. Learn more about the role: http://www.netsquared.org/why-you-should-become-netsquared-organizer Some background info: NetSquared is a volunteer-led program of TechSoup (http://techsoup.global/) that builds the technology capacity of nonprofits through networking and training events. Organizers plan monthly meetups, but you don't need to be a tech expert. As a NetSquared organizer, you will become known as someone who's a leader in the tech for good community. As an event host, you build your reputation, develop new tech skills, and give back to your community.... and have a reason to hang out with other cool people! Excited?
