Good people of Toronto,

We're very excited to announce that NeuroTechTO will be resuming regular Hacknights for 2020, starting this Thursday 6th February.

Similarly exciting is that our new venue is the awesome research laboratory of the father of wearable neurotech himself, Dr. Steve Mann (mannlab.com), who will be hanging out and hacking + brainstorming with us.

Discussions are already underway on new project ideas. We will begin on Thursday with a brief review of these plans, and then get down to business coding and soldering. If you have any thoughts on specific projects you'd like to work on, please share on the slack (see below).

If you're a newb and need more info on what exatly we do, here's an example of some previous NTTO projects that the international community has found useful

https://github.com/NeuroTechX/eeg-101 (EEG on android, java, react.js)

https://github.com/NeuroTechX/eeg-notebooks (EEG analysis in python)

On Thursday be sure to bring your laptop and be ready to get cracking coding and building cool neurotech shit.

After the hacking session we will retire to the Village Genius pub for liquid sustenance and further high-brow discussions.

Please RSVP here indicating if you intend to come so we have an idea of numbers. Also make sure you pay attention to this channel this week for any further updates.

Also please tune into the #_toronto channel on the NeurotechX slack for further discussions (go here to join if you've not already https://neurotechx.herokuapp.com/ )

See you Thurs!

NTTO exec team (John, Paolo, Cristiano, Tom)
