We will discuss Bryan's research into the biological mechanisms linking cannabis use and schizophrenia, as well as his history with NeuroTechX and his role as Connectome Manager.

About the Speaker:

Bryan is a Ph.D. Candidate supervised by Dr. Jibran Khokhar in the Neurobiology of Dual Disorders Laboratory at the University of Guelph. Bryan previously obtained an MSc with distinction from The University of Edinburgh, investigating place cell activity and spatial learning with Dr. Emma Wood and Dr. Paul Dudchenko, and a BSc with honors from the University of Western Ontario, investigating the role of alpha-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in sensorimotor gating and the attenuating effects of nicotine, with Dr. Susanne Schmid.
