"Neurodiversity is a concept where neurological differences are to be recognized and respected as any other human variation. These differences can include those labeled with Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyscalculia, Autistic Spectrum, Tourette Syndrome, and others." This group is about sharing general advice, support and resources with each other.
How it works: - At this stage, as I am running other groups, I will only be able to organize events myself every few months. I am actively looking for someone who is able to help out with volunteer duties so that we can have events more often. - Members will vote on activities (and give feedback about the suitability of those activities) within a certain time period (it could be going for a walk, attending some sort of entertainment event, and so on). - Meetings are loosely structured, but with various prompts from the organizer (Ruth).
Other notes: - Feedback is encouraged. - Individuals from all cultures, religions, and walks of life are welcomed.
