What we're about
I'm tired of being over-weight and out of shape. I've said that I'm going to start an exercise program for years now. I've bought dance videos and exercise videos and read articles. And I have started something at least a half a dozen times. And after a couple of sessions life piles up again and I don't start again. But, I'm done being over-weight and out-of-shape. And I'm starting this group to hold myself accountable to doing something about my health. So, we'll walk. Nothing easier or less expensive than walking. And we'll make friends, and along the way we'll get in the best shape we've ever been. We're going to be using the Couch to 5k program as it's designed to help people start gently and easily and gradually build up to a 5k jog over a nine week period. The program has had a tremendous amount of success because it's easy and flexible and designed to allow you to go at your own pace. This is going to be my first step on the journey to a stronger, fitter me. And I look forward to taking this journey with you. There will never be a charge associated with this group and no organizer will ever collect money or dues from you. I have been approached by different people about emailing my members to promote their business. I don't do that.
