What we're about

The purpose of this group is to create a safe-space where queer folx (and their dogs!) can get outside, make friends, and have fun exploring what beautiful New England has to offer! If you identify as queer, gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, questioning, or anything in between, please join us! This is a space for everyone, except cis-identified men. Thanks!

People of all skill levels are encouraged to join, but most hikes will be of moderate difficulty (7+ miles round-trip and between 0 and 3000 feet of elevation gain).
We encourage all members to plan their own hikes, overnight trips, and other fun events and suggest them to the group. Please feel free to ask me if you need any help in planning or posting an event of your own.

Also, please understand that as the organizer, I am only suggesting a time and place for people to meet. I am not leading the group on any hikes, nor am I able to coordinate carpools. By joining our group, you agree that these types of activities involve assumed risk, which you cannot hold the group, or myself, responsible for. Any and all safety, risk, and decisions on or before we meet are your own to make and are your responsibility

You must read the trail descriptions and pass requirements toughly, understanding that they may not be complete. Please bring a little cash for a daily stamp for your car if need be. Please also bring enough water, snacks and warm clothing for yourself. I have Outdoor Wilderness First Aide Training, and carry extensive medical first aide supplies. But please also bring your own little first aide kit and any emergency medications you need.

I will do my best to create a safe and warm environment, and have zero tolerance for any sort of negative talk – be it transphobia, racism, sexism, or any other inappropriate behavior. Lets make this a nice, and inclusive space for us all!
