About us
Hello,
People join this group to meet new people but there are things that make this group special.
- Our members - I have met a lot of people and we seem to draw very sincere people. In my three years, I have seen so many great relationships of all kinds form. This wouldn't happen at the pace it does if it weren't for the fact that our members come to events with the right intentions and a friendly tone.
- Quality of our events - We are now the largest and most active group in the state. This gives us opportunities to make great events. The hosts and I put a lot of thought and work into our events. It is our goal to make events welcoming and entertaining.
There are a lot of "regular" members that attend many events. Each one of these people started with one event and now I know the group means a lot to them. Take the risk! Join, come to an event, and if it works for you, I am sure I will see you at a lot more.
NOTE: If you would like to run an event, awesome, I would love to hear from you. Or if you are a business that would like for us to try out your establishment, let me know. I am open to suggestions. You can see my contact information below.
Thank you.

Gordon Park Pavilion, 2828 N Humboldt Blvd, Milwaukee, WI, USNote: I can only guarantee you a free t-shirt if you register yourself for the event on the Milwaukee River Keeper website before April 15th. If you register after or just show up to the event, you may or may not get a free t-shirt so register even if you are not sure if you are coming or not! If you decide not to come, someone else can get your shirt.
This will be our 7th year doing the Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup and it’s always been a blast!
The April 25th cleanup takes place at 100 or so different sites along the Milwaukee River. Our site is Gordon park. We will meet there and I will provide you with garbage bags and gloves and we just cleanup.
One cool thing is that the organizers of this event as planning on trying to set the world record for largest river cleanup.
I will provide more information as the event approaches and you can ask any questions you have below but as mentioned above, register ASAP so we get all the t-shirts we can.

Our site is Gordon Park Pavilion (1321 E Locust St, Milwaukee)
There’s a parking lot right next to the pavilion, and I’ll have signs up to show exactly where to meet. So no parking stress, and the group will be easy to find.
Here is a link to some FAQs of the entire event: Join a Local River Cleanup & Make an Immediate Impact
Otherwise feel free to ask any questions in the comment section below. As the event approaches, I will make sure we are easy to find and I hope to see you there!
