About:

1. Members at Manchester Makerspace are working on awesome projects:

• Electric go kart
• Iron Man costume
• Motorcycles
• and much much more

2. From these projects we also generate tons of digital content in the form of video, photos, data sets, and other various file types.

3. Over several years makerspaces have tried to share digital content and collaborate between their members and across organizations with awful difficulty

• We've tried Wiki's
• Youtube
• Github
• Cloud storage (Google drive, dropbox, ect.)
• Communication apps like Slack
  -- All of these solutions require cumbersome permissions settings, require too much time for volunteers to manage, and do not scale well for dynamic projects and groups.
  -- All of these options restrict file size and volume size. This especially makes it hard to share raw video when trying to edit.
