What we're about

Formerly, the Milford Pair Programming Group. See updated description below.

Purpose:
This is a group for all levels of experience to learn, practice and teach web technology through discussion and practice. It is a very hands-on, roll your sleeves up, ask those questions, challenge yourself type of group. Don't be afraid or shy but if you are, you will gain confidence because this is a receptive, non-judgemental zone.

Who should join:
Anyone interested in improving or mentoring. All levels of coding experience are encouraged to join this Meetup. Teaching is a great way to learn too!

What will we do:
It's a group experience that will exercise your coding skills and help you become comfortable discussing code. We will solve coding challenges at https://www.codewars.com (https://www.codewars.com/). Mostly like paired off with another member or with the group. Members can also bring in a coding challenge of their own and may ask for help or feedback. HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress, PHP will most likely be what we spend time on.

What should you bring:
1. Laptop.
2. Problems or topics you would like to solve or discuss.

When:
Saturday, October 26. 12pm 3:30pm: Upper Level Conference Room
Saturday, November 23, 12:30PM - 3:30PM: Upper Level Conference Room
Saturday, December 14, 12:00PM - 1:30PM: Upper Level Conference Room

These dates are the only dates so far. If attendance is good and people are interested in more meetings, I'll book more meetings in 2020.

Where:
Wilson Branch Library in New Haven at 303 Washington Avenue, New Haven, CT.
Upper Level Conference Room. It's a good venue, I've been there several times. Easy to find and access.

Parking:
Parking is available behind the library accessible via Daggett Street.

Thanks! Please tell people about this group!

Sharon
