What we're about

As a 20 year "owner" of a panic disorder, I understand the need for like-minded individuals to speak about our disorder(s), learn healthy coping habits from one another and to know that you are not the only one suffering from weight on our chest, that we all know as anxiety. The purpose of this group is to create a lasting community that can meet up with like-minded individuals to make friends, have fun, exchange stories/coping skills/recovery, find comfort in and reach out to when your experiencing stressful moments in your life. This group is for anyone who is currently an "owner" of any spectrum of anxiety, who knows a friend or loved one who has anxiety and would like to understand more about the disorder(s) or has recovered from any spectrum of anxiety disorders. (These include, but are not limited to : social anxiety, GAD, agoraphobia, panic attacks, OCD, PTSD ) This group is not intended to diagnose any specific disorder, replace therapeutic, psychiatric entities or mental health facilities. We are here to relax, have fun, be supportive, communicate and learn from each other!
