2014 Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival

The 2014 Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival returns to Gonzales, right in the heart of Ascension Parish. http://www.ascensionballooning.com/index.html

On the lush green fields of the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center, you and your family can take in the sights of the festival in a relaxed and comfortable setting, while enjoying the rural, open spaces.

The gates open at 10:00am. Cost is $2per person for admission; $25 for carnival ride bracelets. Tethered hot air balloon rides are $20/per person ($10/children under 12)

(PLEASE NOTE: While we are currently not limiting the number of participants, please keep in mind this is likely to be a large event. While we will be posting updates with our location while at the event, we cannot guarantee that we will stay in any one vicinity for very long.
