Performance testing is incredibly difficult to do well, and certain negative practices (antipatterns) are unfortunately frequently observed.

This talk addresses these common antipatterns found in performance testing and explains the impact that they can have if left unaddressed.

Join Java Expert Ben Evans, joining us all the way from Barcelona, for a discussion focused on organizational and process antipatterns, rather than anything specific to a particular technology stack. The antipatterns are supported by experience from real-world examples (although the names have been changed to spare the blushes of the organizations concerned). Each antipattern is accompanied by a best practice or solution to avoid or mitigate the problems that can be encountered.
