This is the second event of our "Automated Web Testing 101" series. We aim to share our experience and knowledge with whoever wants to learn more about Automated tests. Each session will have support of 4 experienced QA's working in either Xing or Kununu (part of the New Work group).

This session will be the first contact with one of the most used web test automation frameworks: Selenium.

The participants will be introduced to Selenium IDE, a capture and replay tool, and we will discuss advantages and disadvantages of this method.
Following this we will introduce Selenium Webdriver, which we will use to automate navigation on a website and create a simple test.

The goal of this session is to have a simple test written in Java with Selenium.

Pre-requisites: Java SDK, Eclipse IDE, Selenium IDE, Chrome Webdriver and Selenium Standalone Driver installed.
