AWA is excited to announce our next meetup with our founder and CEO, Simon Powers. This is must-attend event if you want to be the next inspirational conference speaker, thought leader, or someone who wants to make a positive change in the world. Register your free place today.
Thought leadership has become synonymous with keynote speakers, authors, and anybody with the confidence (and marketing muscle) to speak their minds and share their perspectives with the world, yet the term has come under increasing fire in recent years. So what exactly does true thought leadership mean? And how does one become a thought leader?
Join AWA CEO Simon Powers as he dives deeper into this topic, shining a light on what true thought leadership is and why we need a new generation of thought leaders that can make a difference and change the world in which we live for the better.
Simon Powers has been an Entrepreneur and Thought Leader for the last 20 years.
“I have honestly tried to make a difference, pouring what I have learned both internally as a shift in consciousness and externally through techniques, models, and experience into changing the world of work.”
During this meetup he will share:
• What a thought leader is and what it is not
• Why we need great thought leaders
• Examples of great thought leadership
• How this role is similar to entrepreneurism
• What the next generation of thought leaders look like
• How to become a true thought leader
We are thrilled to announce this new immersive workshop on Story Mapping with Kevin Callahan. It's the perfect workshop for those who attended Kevin's hugely popular story mapping meetup earlier this year and left wanting more!
Product development is fraught with risks. Risk of delay. Risk of missing what is needed. Risk of poor understanding. Risk of miscommunication. Risk of rework. These risks can consume time, money, and our creative and innovative capabilities with little to show for it.
What if there was a way to not simply address these risks, though reduce or avoid them altogether? User Story Mapping is a proven approach that puts the odds in our favor. To gain these benefits though requires understanding fundamental principles of product development.
Kevin Callahan’s Story Mapping Deep Dive covers not only fundamentals, but how effective product definition work also sets up effective story mapping sessions.
Participants will learn product development by doing it!
Participants will gain first-hand experience in product definition and discovery practices, learn about common product development pitfalls, and get a sense of product development as a discipline and profession beyond simply a role.
Demonstrates common patterns and anti-patterns of adaptively turning business ideas into executable plans
Explains surfacing assumptions
Covers strategies to get beyond outputs to outcomes
Shows how to make more informed forecast
Explores User Story Mapping essentials to advanced facilitation.
Get to grips working with User Stories.

We are excited to present – The Enterprise Agile Coach Expert Cohort Program (ICE-EC) – an experiential one-of-a-kind program that significantly raises the bar for Enterprise Agile Coaching.
Are you ready to dramatically advance your skilfulness and impact as an enterprise transformation coach? Are you ready to take a dive deep into new territory for yourself as a coach, leader and practitioner? This is your opportunity.
The Enterprise Agile Coach Expert Program integrates theories (of human and organisation development, deep systems work, organisation design, and systemic thinking) coaching, and practice within a “deliberately developmental environment” for a life-time of transformation. Under the guidance of your program leaders and mentors, and within a powerful community environment you will be both supported and challenged to move toward and beyond whatever leadership edges you’ve had difficulty crossing (or didn’t know you had).
This program is for participants who are serious about dramatically advancing their enterprise agile coaching and leadership. Over the course of the program, a journey of inner growth builds on its own momentum, propelling both individual and collective toward a new possibility for what it means to lead, inspire, and catalyse deep change in the organisations in which your leadership is being called forth. Those who successfully complete this program and pass the assessment will come away with the advanced ICAgile Expert in Enterprise Agile Coaching (ICE-EC) designation.
