Kick off the Summer on an invigorating, scenic, and a healthy outdoor walk at NYC's most beautiful locations. Join others in your own age group at our stroll through the High Line & Hudson Yards landscape. It is the perfect location for our popular 50 & Over Social Walk.
Get some fresh air, some exercise, and meet some new people in your age range. Plus, enjoy the views, unique architecture & cutting-edge art that is all a part of the High Line and Hudson Yards.
Our social walks are an extremely popular way to meet others. This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions.
During the walk, you will randomly be paired with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. Afterwards, you're welcome to hang out and exchange contact info with others.
FAQs:
Where to meet? Exact meeting location with host contact info will be sent to all paid attendees day of the event.
How many will attend? We will have enough attendees so everyone has enough time to meet and get to know all attending.

Can I come alone? Yes, about 90% come on their own.

Included: a pre-sketched canvas, unlimited painting materials (brushes, acrylic paints etc.) and a take home bag. No smocks so please dress appropriately. Please bring something to sit on.
What to expect:
• Step-by-step, group-oriented painting instruction, which is designed to simultaneously entertain and enlighten our members.
• We'll have a professional artist guide you through a featured painting that is yours to keep and proudly display. And don’t worry — no experience is necessary.
• 2 hour course lead that teaches you the art of mixing colors, blending and painting techniques.
• All supplies provided - 12x16 pre-sketched canvas, unlimited acrylic paint (water based), brushes, and aprons.
DIRECTIONS TO FIND GROUP:
We are located in a cul-de-sac at PINETUM EAST. We will be behind this row of benches (right under the trees). If you are coming from the east side you can find us by entering Central Park on East 84th street. Walk up the ramp, cross over the road and head west. If you are traveling from the west side we are east of the basketball courts.

HOW IT WORKS:
This completely online event will be LIVE and you will be able to see and hear the other participants while playing. In addition you get to meet and interact with other participants. You can attend via a computer/ webcam or smartphone/iPad/tablet.

At game time, your host will show you a word search board. Your goal is to come up with as many words as you can within the specified time frame. We will have multiple rounds of play and have a system to also virtually introduce you to other participants.

The people who made the most words, will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize at the end of the event. You also can earn raffle tickets for audience participation and finding certain bonus words. Winners receive Amazon Gift Cards, free events, and more! This is the perfect event to meet singles from the tri-state area - all from the comfort of your own home. Get to meet people online before meeting them in person! You will meet singles via your computer with webcam or smartphone/tablet (strong WiFi connection required if using a phone).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.

Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).

You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.

The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 10. If there are less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you will get credit for a future virtual event.

How do I find the Zoom Room?

After you purchase your ticket, you will get a confirmation åappear on your screen along with the Zoom link for you to use to log in.
