The NYC Facilitators Group (NYCFG) is dedicated to the professional development of its members in the art, science, tools, and techniques of group facilitation. Group members come from the New York metro/tri-state area (Southern Connecticut, New Jersey, downstate New York) and may be facilitators, trainers, consultants, business leaders and coaches, who work in diverse fields (e.g., organizational consulting, quality, social policy, business management, mediation, etc.). Members may be associated with the International Association of Facilitators; however, IAF membership or certification is not required. The purpose of our meetings is to learn new skills and methodologies for facilitation, and for working with teams and groups, in the for-profit, non-profit and community arenas.
In this Zoom meeting, we will share experiences, lessons learned, and approaches for dealing with emotions in the room.
