IF YOU IDENTIFY AS A JOURNALIST or AN ACTIVIST AND ARE NOT ENCRYPTING YOUR EMAIL:

All you have to do is make the time to attend this session and you will leave having sent and received encrypted email . This session is open to all but journos, you are our v.i.p attendees this month.

What are you waiting for? Jump in! You really need to be encrypting your emails. Its not a matter of - if your email will be hacked, it's when. Might as well make it so when someone gets in, the messages are unreadable. We live in the age of DCLEAKS ( https://twitter.com/DCleaks_ ) , WIKILEAKS ( https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/ ) , & attempted news organization hacks ( http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/24/technology/new-york-timess-moscow-bureau-was-targeted-by-hackers.html ). Time to news gather safer! We'll help you put on a digital helmet and vest, then scribble PRESS on it.

encrypted email pro? If you are not a n00b and have been sending encrypted emails like a bawse for a while now, there will be plenty to discuss and learn about including some great key management opsec.
