Getting funded is the goal of all startups. The source of capital can come from anywhere and it all starts with a simple 30 second to 1 minute pitch that causes people to become intrigue.

Without a clean and clear message, no one will be interested in knowing more about your business. This event is setup for everyone to practice pitching their businesses so that when it really counts, your ready to go!

1 Minute Startup Pitch:

Here is the suggested format that we recommend you use:

Who are you and what is your background? (10-20 seconds) What is the problem? (10-20 seconds) How does your product/service solve the problem? (10-20 seconds)

30 Minute Presentation on Crowdfunding:
Alex Binkley is CEO and Co-Founder of Funding Community, the first US Crowdfunding platform for small business loans. Alex is a graduate of Harvard University and Boston University School of Law. Prior to founding Funding Community, Alex was a corporate lawyer at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr’s New York Office focusing on startup and securities law. Before practicing law he worked for and ran numerous small businesses, which opened his eyes to the serious challenges faced by small businesses in finding financing and connecting with champions within their community.
