Cost: $95 – General Admission / $85 Lifetime VIP

Spend a summer day out of the city and explore the beautiful Hudson Valley including historic Kingston and Rhinebeck, NY! At the Sojourner Truth State Park Trail you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Hudson River and the Lost Mine Lake then it’s off to explore 2 historic upstate NY towns.

What to expect from the Sojourner Truth State Park Trail Easy Hike – Kingston/Rhinebeck
You will take the 8:56am Metro-North train to Poughkeepsie (or you can drive to meet the group at the station at 10:57am).
Your guide will pick you up and drive you to the Sojourner Truth the hike (1.7 miles out and back/1 hour).
Following the hike we will sit at the picnic tables for lunch. You can bring your own or pick up at a local deli.
After lunch we’ll explore historic Kingston NY, the first capital of New York State. We’ll check out the historic district then take a trolley ride to Kingston Point.
After our Trolley ride we’ll head across the river to Rhinebeck, NY including a visit to the famous Samuel’s Sweet Shop.
When you are all sugared up then head back for the 5:51pm train
Cost:
$95 – General Admission / $85 Lifetime VIP
Included: Transportation to and from Poughkeepsie train station and to all attractions. Hike & Guide fees. Trolley ride.
Not included: Since not everyone will be taking the train, train fare is not included.
About the hike:
This is a level 2-3 hike out of 10. It is about 1.7 miles and is a mix of gravel and ground.
Can I come alone? Yes, most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.
Dress Code: Dress for the weather. Hiking shoes strongly recommended. Sneakers are okay, too.

Back in the 1800s, Coney Island was the vacation spot for Manhattanites. Known globally for its whimsical amusement parks and wild rides, it eventually fell into decay—only to make a major comeback in recent years. Now’s your chance to explore it like never before!
Join fellow NYSN members and guests for a fun Saturday afternoon of adventure & socializing as you journey through Coney Island’s historic and modern marvels in this exciting scavenger hunt!
🔍 How It Works
1pm PM: Meet the group outside Ruby’s Bar on the Boardwalk. Look for NYSN signs.
1:15 PM: Teams are formed and the hunt begins!
3:00 PM: Return to Ruby’s for food, drinks, and tallying of scores.
After: Stay for rides, games, or continue hanging out with the group!
💡 Teams will search for historic and contemporary clues in and around the boardwalk.
🎯 You’ll have 75 minutes to find as many as you can.

Includes scavenger hunt only. Food, drinks, and rides not included.
📍 Please arrive on time—teams depart at 1 PM sharp and latecomers cannot be accommodated.

Getting There: The Q, F, and D trains all stop within a 5-minute walk of the meeting spot.
