Corda / Blockchain - Chris Celiberti
With Blockchain being all the rage these days right, wrong or indifferent companies are looking at this technology to create de-centralized products and services. StreetWire will present its real estate application built on Kotlin using R3's Corda open source platform exploring the workings of the blockchain, Corda's framework, Kotlin code and technical aspects of the application.
Nimble Web Framework - Talon Ghost
Let's build a web app with Kotlin! In this talk I would like to share how Nimble makes it easy peasy to start building web applications that share the same data structures and logic as your backend Kotlin service! We will explore a small example that consumes data from the internet and renders content onto a page while investigating the simple API exposed by Nimble!
Location: Thank you to American Express for hosting and providing food and drinks. When you arrive someone will be at the entrance checking ids and directing you where to go.
