Kickoff! Introductions and Lightning Talk: Generalized Parsing and Compilers

Hi all, thanks again for joining. I am planning on doing monthly events, with the first one starting after the holidays on January 22nd, at 6pm. WeWork has offered to host us for this first event so we will be at the Long Island City location -- 27-01 Queens Plaza N (Room 12B) -- with space for around 10-15.

This first one will be a bit more informal than others, as I'll be aiming to get to know some of you, hear what you're interested in, and why you joined the group. I'll start with a quick introduction followed by a talk on GLL Parsing and modern parsing algorithms and then we can branch off into questions and discussion afterwards.

Food and drink will be provided and photo Id is required to get into the building!
