The New York Scandinavian Culture Meetup
The group is designed for Americans of Scandinavian and Germanic descent or Americans who have some Scandinavian or German ancestors, or people visiting America from Germany and Scandinavia. The purpose of the group is to explore Scandinavian and Germanic culture in a social environment. Americans interested in Scandinavian culture are welcome to join the group. We are going to be attending Scandinavian cultural events throughout Manhattan, New York. We are also going to have a monthly social event the 1st Saturday of every month.
DENMARK - FAROE ISLANDS - FINLAND - GREENLAND - ICELAND - NORWAY - SWEDEN
Price: Membership is FREE.
Time: Varies based on the activity.
Date: The events dates vary, but we are having a Scandinavian social event the third Saturday of every month.

Place: We are going to be meeting in many different locations, but we are usually going to be around Turtle Bay in Manhattan, New York. Turtle Bay is a popular area in Manhattan. Turtle Bay is an ideal location as it is near the American Scandinavian Foundation, The Swedish Seaman's Church, the Norwegian Seaman's Church, Grand Central Terminal, and a large number of night clubs.
How to find us: We are easy to locate and meet in visible, public places. We send directions via email to all attending members.
