Thanks everyone for attending - Adrian and I really enjoyed discussing the Smart Cities movement and Portland's leadership role. If anyone wants to learn more, iSoftStone distributes a monthly newsletter about Smart Cities in the PNW - anybody interested can subscribe at

Loved the event. Great to see how involved Portland is with Smart Cities. As an entrepreneur is this space, we focused on the first real robots that might help sense a city. Drones deliver sensors to critical areas quickly, and retrieve data. In early 2015, several break throughs occurred diving smaller, lower cost sensors along with AI/Machine learning in drone technology. The question for Portland really becomes which technology do we "like". Because that will shape the regulatory and market forces for new economic engines. We're about to deep dive those questions in the Internet of Things "We Like" group.. Feel free to join in.

Great event! Like Steve Brown said last night: "Every business is becoming a data business." Which ties into the goal of my Data Dogs group:

Data Dogs focuses on the human side of data as it has become more ubiquitous both inside organizations and within our personal lives. We seek to expand this conversation beyond the tribe of data professionals and welcome anyone who is tracking or making data driven decisions

Found the issue... If you click on the ticket link that appears and disappears as you scroll it directs you to a different payment screen than if you click on the $10-$25 steady link at the top of the page. Cheers!

I'm an EIR responsible for new business models in the smart cities space. We're designing IoT we like for Pilot programs. It'd be great to improve traffic flow. Here to share.

    Hi all,

I'm interested in picking the brains and experience of those who have had some success issuing RFP's for software. Drop me a note if you don't mind steering a newbie in the right direction.

Hey Tyler or Thubten - ImpactFlow wants me to pay $20 online as if I'm getting a ticket at the door, which is really hurting my feelings. Assume this is a glitch. Can you help unstick the wheels of progress?
