Shahryar has proven a success as the CISO for Tower Research Capital, Island ECN, NYC City Time Initiative, and Strike Technologies. Actualizing Risk Analysis and Mitigation Programs. Gartner and SAIC needed to perform Security Risk Analysis on $600M+ programs for the NYC ECTP and City Time programs; as a member of the PMO, Shahryar spearheaded teams comprising of employees and vendors to establish a Security Risk Mgmt. program and develop mitigation strategies based on PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and CoBIT standards, to produce attack surfaces and with risk and remediation measures.

Formerly a Golden Quill award-winning VP and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner and Burton Group, Dan Blum leads and delivers consulting projects on identity management strategies and architectures; cloud security and privacy assessments; and risk management framework development for enterprise clients. Dan also consulted on technical security engagements in all domains of data protection including enterprise authorization, encryption/key management, privileged access management (PAM), and data leakage prevention (DLP).

David – will share the experiences and views on being the First Line of Defense and Internal Audit for IAM space, especially on:
* What auditors focus on during an IAM audit, e.g. Certification, Leavers, Termination controls, SoD and PAM? And why they do so?
* What should you focus on for IAM control designs and implementation to be audit ready?
* Discuss your most difficult questions (and findings) experienced from auditors?
“David Cheng is a Director of Internal Audit at a large international bank from Japan - responsible for executing internal audit program for IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity area. Prior to joining the internal audit, he was a Control Officer and Audit Liaison officer for Identity and Access Management for two larger financial institutes for 6 years – defining access management policy, standard, and controls for IAM space. He was also a VP for Internal Audit of IT Infrastructure for Goldman Sachs for 10 years. He brings rich experience in IAM risk/control identifications, IAM control execution, RCSA, IAM policy/standard definitions, and extensive experience in IT and SOx audit interactions. He has a BS in Biotechnology, an MS in Computer Science from Univ South Florida, and an MBA from PACE University.”
