What we're about

Newark Makers unite!

We invite all makers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs in and near Newark to join us for our monthly events.

If you’re in business or thinking about getting started, at a Newark Makers event you will:

• Learn about new topics to help jumpstart or grow your business

• Have an opportunity to promote your business or project during “Show & Tell”

• Tap into the collective community knowledge and wisdom during “Ask & Gives”

• Network and collaborate with other local makers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs

Every month will have a different theme or focus with a guest speaker, but businesses from all industries are welcomed and encouraged to attend to join in networking.

Come out and join the Newark Makers community.

Newark Makers is a meetup hosted by Makerhoods.org. Coming in 2020 to Newark, Makerhoods.org will provide affordable commercial space in a supportive business community. If you would like more information, visit our website at https://www.makerhoods.org/ . If you are interested in guest speaking at an upcoming meetup, contact kmozian@makerhoods.org .
