Newcastle Makerspace

We are a Makerspace (or Hackerspace). The basic concept is to provide a not-for-profit communal space with a collection of tools, that anyone can use to make or fix things. Just as important though are the shared skills of our members. Things you might use the space for are e.g. sewing, electronics, writing code, woodworking, metalworking or mechanical repairs and maintenance. Newcastle Makerspace is currently fairly electronics focused, but we're not about setting limits, and if you want to bring in other ideas/skills/tools, then feel free!
