SESSION 1 – WHAT IS THE MICROSOFT POWER PLATFORM?
The Microsoft Power Platform is an area Microsoft are heavily pushing at present and within this eco-system is Power BI. This session is intended to help you understand what the Power Platform is, where you might use it and the opportunities it could present for you as individuals and for your organisations.

SESSION 2 – USING THE CLOUD TO SELL UNICORNS
In this session we will look at a real-world small business example of how the Azure Cloud can be used to super charge an online retail business. This session will showcase the art of the possible combining serverless technologies on Azure with Microsoft Power Apps, and Power BI. This will create an IT platform that will grow directly in line with the business showing how the cloud can support growth from SME to Enterprise. In this session however we will focus on some of the data and analytics use cases in Mike's scenarios and the role played by Power BI.

SPEAKER BIO
Michael Stephenson is a Cloud and Integration Architect who is based in Newcastle. He has worked with Microsoft Azure since it was first released and has delivered many projects with large customers around the world leveraging the Azure platform. Michael is a very active member of the IT community, blogging and speaking at lots of events and has also been a Microsoft MVP for 10 years.
